Before You Go Live
A little preparation can make your fundraiser easier to run and more engaging for your viewers!
Set a Clear Goal
Choose a fundraising goal your community can rally around. Give viewers a clear target you want to achieve and celebrate progress throughout your stream.
Promote Your Date Early
Tell your audience ahead of time when you're fundraising so they can mark their calendars. Your community will want to show up for you!
Set Up Your Stream
Add your fundraising overlays before the stream starts and test them in OBS, Streamlabs or your preferred streaming software. Don’t forget the progress bar and donation alerts!

- Create a big donation amount that triggers a safe, fun on-stream challenge.
- Use community goals to unlock things like bonus content or extending the stream.
- Plan your biggest incentive for reaching your final fundraising goal!

- Celebrate new donations as they arrive.
- Use Donation Alerts for immediate on-screen celebration (people love to be recognized!)
